Our Life & Physical Sciences programmes are approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and most of them obtained full accreditation status from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) in Malaysia. Professional recognition and accreditation are being sought actively from leading Malaysia and international professional bodies for the relevant professional-related programmes.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Biochemistry

The programme aims to allow students to understand, analyse, practice and evaluate the knowledge and laboratory skills of a range of biochemistry topics. It provides strong training in practical methods, data analysis and problem-solving related to biochemistry.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Biotechnology

Biotechnology is the application of advances  made in the biological sciences, especially involving the science of genetics and its application. Biotechnology has helped improve food quality, quantity and processing; its application also includes producing chemicals through manipulating simple cells and proteins.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of the properties, the composition and structure of matter, the transformation of substances, and their corresponding energy changes. As a basic knowledge, chemistry is essential for students of biology, physic, geology, engineering, biotechnology and many other subjects.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Microbiology

The field of Microbiology has become even more important in recent years, as microbes are involved in current topics such as biofuels and bioenergy, infectious disease and epidemics, bioterrorism, biotechnology, food safety and environmental biology.

Students will learn to appreciate and understand physics through a hands-on approach in a laboratory setting with state-of-the-art equipment. Besides academic development, this programme also aims to equip students with the proper communication and entrepreneurial skills.
