Bachelor of Building and Property Management (Hons)

The Building and Property Management deals with management of properties of third parties for a fee or commission. It focuses on investing, buying, selling, renting, servicing, using and valuing properties to achieve optimum returns for the investors.


There is a demand for an all rounded building manager who possesses not only technical knowledge on buildings and engineering but also substantial business principles to manage existing and prospective properties.  


As such, this programme is designed to expose students to contemporary management in the building management industry, leveraging on the use of latest building technologies and value added decision making knowledge expertise, as well as develop students into professional manager in building management.


This degree has been fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agent Malaysia (BoVAEA) has accredited the programme for Estate Agents. 


For registration with Building Management Association of Malaysia (BMAM), graduates can register as "Graduate Members" and eventually be upgraded as "Registered Building Managers" upon satisfying the necessary criteria.
