Banking and finance is the study of managing money, financial instruments and financial institutions in an economy. It studies how banks handle money circulation, investments and loan financing, acquiring and disposing of financial assets, and managing day-to-day operations.

The banking and finance curriculum at UTAR is aimed to educate students with an understanding of finance, accounting and management, with an emphasis on modern banking and financial management.
