The programme emphasises the effective management of resources including manpower, materials, machines, and methods to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and sustainability across industries.

The Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Industrial Management programme equips students with knowledge and practical skills in industrial engineering, operations management, quality systems, supply chain management, programming, Lean Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 related technologies. The revised curriculum also incorporates AI-related applications, IoT, energy analytics, and sustainability-related components to align with current industrial and technological developments.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will also be awarded a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate, which is highly valuable in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

The programme is accredited by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), enabling graduates to register as Graduate Technologists and pursue Professional Technologist status.
