Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Journalism in Chinese Media programme aims to support the development of the media industry by fostering public discourse on important issues related to democratic values and preserving harmony in a country with a diverse population like Malaysia. The curriculum equips students with skills for lifelong learning, allowing them to confront complex problems, issues, and current events in a critical, objective and analytical manner.

Graduates of this programme will have a thorough understanding of the Chinese media sector as well as training in news writing, editing and production for print and broadcast media as well as online media such as websites, blogs and other forms of social media.
