Marketing refers to the activities of a company related to buying, advertising, distributing and selling a product or service. Good marketing will attract customers interested in the company’s product and service, thereby contributing to the profitability or good reputation of a company. Marketing activities include market research, product design and development, packaging, setting strategy, pricing, advertising, communicating, promoting, delivery channel, endorsement, and many more. 

The marketing degree at UTAR is designed to produce industry-driven graduates who are adaptable to the current business demands and skilled in a variety of marketing techniques and tools. Students will be able to learn about the e-commerce ecosystem through the Alibaba.com Global Digital Talent (GDT) offered at UTAR, as well as hone their digital marketing skills on Google Ignite programme.
