Mechatronics engineering is the field that combines mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering and information technology. It includes artificial intelligence, robotics and automation systems, precision engineering, micro electromechanical systems (MEMS) and many other leading-edge technologies. The most important parts of mechatronics are the development and integration of intelligent sensors, industrial automations, robotics, actuators, microsystems and advanced decision-making and control strategies. 

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Mechatronics Engineering has been meticulously designed in response to the rapid growth of interests in Industrial Revolution 4.0.
