In addition to academic programmes, UTAR provides other relevant courses for individuals, corporations, organisations, and communities with varying learning and development needs.
English Enhancement Programme (EEP)
Students who do not meet the English language requirement for university admission will take and pass the EEP first. It is also for adults and school leavers to improve their English language skills.
Micro-Credential Course (MCC)
MCC is for individuals who are interested to take some undergraduate and postgraduate courses in examination mode without enrolling in a degree programme.
Non-Graduating Courses (NGC)
NGC is for individuals who are interested to take academic courses without enrolling in a degree programme for professional and/or personal gain. It is offered in a non-examination mode.
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
MOOCs are intended to meet learners' needs for specific skills, competencies, or even new knowledge. It is available in non-exam mode.
Student Exchange Programmes (SEP)
SEP are only available to UTAR and overseas students who want to immerse themselves in academic learning to meet increasingly competitive global demand while also experiencing new cultures.
Professional QualificationPreparatory Courses
These courses are prepare UTAR students and the public for professional qualification examinations. Currently, UTAR offers ACCA and CFP preparatory courses.
Edutourism
In addition to gaining new knowledge and skills in stimulating classes, you will be exposed to a variety of real-world experiences, such as excursions to explore Malaysia's unique culture and heritage.
MUET Preparatory Workshops
It's designed to familiarise students with MUET requirements and format and, in addition, prepare them to answer past year questions and provide them with handy quick notes for final preparation.
