Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Process) with Honours

Chemical Engineering (Process) is the use of science, especially chemistry, physics and mathematics, to turn raw materials that come from petroleum or other hydrocarbons into valuable or usable products. Petrochemical engineers are responsible for the development and production of a wide range of products, commodities, and specialty chemicals as petrochemical engineers. These products include high-performance materials used in aerospace, automotive, biomedical, electronic, military, environmental, and health applications, all of which contribute to a more sustainable and improved quality of life.

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Process) with Honours is designed to cover the fundamentals of chemical engineering as well as in petrochemical engineering specialisation. It covers the engineering principles required to develop, design, operate and control the processes and plants that involve molecular changes. In order to keep up with market trends, the structure of the programme included parts of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the Internet of Things (IoT), automation and smart manufacturing in chemical processes, and new advanced technologies.
