Bachelor of Public Administration (Honours) 

A good public administration degree can help students who want to improve the social and economic well-being of individuals, communities and the general public. Public administrators draft, analyse and implements policies through a wide range of agencies and directly impact who has access to resources, general living standards, and opportunities for diverse communities. 

Students in the public administration programme at UTAR learn about governance and public administration while developing essential skills that can be applied in a variety of employment situations. Students will learn to solve real-world problems and address the challenges in various contexts such as governance, public administration, policy analysis and international relations regionally and globally. 

Graduates with a public administration degree can work in both the public and private sectors, including non-profit organisations. Non-profit organisations such as societies, associations, charities, cooperatives, and other voluntary organisations formed to further cultural, educational, health, religious, professional, or public service objectives offer a variety of positions for graduates.
