Industrial Intelligent Systems refer to the integration of advanced intelligent technologies (such as AI, machine learning, data analytics and IoT) into industrial processes and operations. This integration aims to enhance efficiency, productivity and decision-making. These systems leverage the power of data and automation to transform traditional industries such as manufacturing, energy, logistics and more.
The Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) Industrial Intelligent Systems equips the student with the latest tools and knowledge to support Industry 4.0 through intelligence technologies. This programme not only provides the student with a solid IT foundation such as programming, networking, and database but also core technologies shaping Industry 4.0. These technologies include digitisation and data acquisition, data-driven decision-making, artificial intelligence, robotics and automation.
Moreover, this is a a work-based learning programme where students have the option to spend a year in the industry, receive coaching from our industry partners and learn in a real work environment.
