Bachelor of Science (Honours) Software Engineering 

Software Engineering is related to the study of different aspects of the software development life cycle, covering analysis, design, testing, implementation, modification and maintenance of software, in a systematic and quantifiable fashion. Its relevance and application are increasing rapidly in a large variety of domains, including business, science, entertainment and education today, where software applications that are deployed continue to evolve in complexity and functionality. This programme provides an intensive coverage of various techniques, principles and tools for the major areas of software development life cycle. It is highly application centric covering advanced programming techniques in popular software development languages and frameworks to impart a strong practical flavour to the programme, in which students are able to relate theoretical constructs to actual hands-on experience in software development. 

Students will attend different courses including Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Cloud Computing technologies, programming in games engine, network and security related courses to cater for the technology job market. Furthermore, students will work on their final year project related to state-of-the-art research topics in this exciting field.
